This Privacy Policy explains how GolfHello, operated by Cruise Built LLC ("GolfHello," "we," "us"), collects, uses and protects information when you use the GolfHello website and golf league services, including leagues run by golf courses on the GolfHello platform.
Information we collect
Account and contact data
- Name, email address and mobile phone number
- Sign-in information, such as magic-link sign-in requests
League and player data
- League registrations, teams, divisions, schedules and pairings
- Scores, scorecards, handicaps, match results and standings
- Attendance, substitutions and league-night records
SMS phone-number data
- Your mobile number and whether you opted in to receive text messages
- Opt-in and opt-out records (for example, STOP and HELP replies) and message delivery status
Technical data
- Basic device, browser and usage information needed to operate and secure the service
How we use information
- To run leagues: registration, scheduling, pairings, scoring, handicaps and standings
- To send league communications by email and, if you opted in, by text message — such as schedules, pairings, weather notices, reminders, results and league changes
- To provide support, maintain security and improve the service
- To comply with legal obligations
SMS and mobile information
GolfHello does not sell or share SMS opt-in data or mobile phone information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging is optional. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. See our Terms & Conditions for SMS terms.
Service providers
We use trusted service providers to operate GolfHello, such as hosting, database, email delivery and SMS delivery providers (for example, Twilio). They process information only on our behalf to provide these services and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing. League information is also visible to the golf course running your league, as needed to operate it.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your information. No system is completely secure.
Data retention and your choices
We keep information for as long as needed to operate leagues and maintain historical results, or as required by law. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting us.
Children
GolfHello is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed.
